Dermal fillers are used to add volume to deeper lines of the face. They are particularly helpful in softening the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and the "marionette lines" of the chin. They can also be used in and around the lips. Restylane®, Perlane®, and Juvederm® are all dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally occurs in the skin.

These products are injected through a tiny needle. There may be mild bruising and swelling after the procedure. Drs. Morris and Howell recommend a personal consultation to determine which filler is right for you. Side effects and expectations will be discussed at your appointment.
