At the Poncé™ Med-Spa, there are two available treatments for permanent hair reduction.

Broad Band Light (BBL) therapy uses high intensity pulses of light to selectively damage the hair follicles while preserving the integrity of the surrounding skin.

The Iridex Apex 800 laser uses an intense beam of light that is directed at and absorbed by pigment in the hair. This causes damage to the follicle which ceases hair growth.

These treatments are only effective on darkly pigmented hairs. Treatment areas include face, bikini line, chest, back, legs and under arms. Several treatments are necessary to acheive the desired effect. Individual results may vary among patients.
